Services include system design and specification, installation and commissioning, hand over and training, then support and maintenance once your system is installed.

Whether it's just a single room or one aspect of home technology (e.g. lighting) or in fact your whole house, we ensure that all the systems are coordinated, bind together easily and are simple to use. It doesn't matter how old or new your home happens to be.

We can offer the "big picture" or part of a complex project such as data cabling or automation control and we will manage your project with an accredited project manager.

So how does a project work?

Consultation: - We meet with you to discuss your expectations and how a smart home solution can revolutionise your home and lifestyle. We prepare initial designs and estimates and discuss them with you to see if you have any changes or additions. A full specification and quotation (fee payable) is available at which time you choose if you want to proceed.

Design: - Depending on your project, we draw and specify wiring schematics incorporated into your architect's plans together with anything ancillary such as cabinets which can then be provides with your contractors. The document summarises what the system delivers and what it does not.

Project Management: - We provide an experienced project manager (Prince2 accredited) to liaise with all contractors giving detailed requirement. Progress against expected time frames is monitored closely along with costs and estimates to complete. If any changes in the scope are agreed, these are incorporated into the project plan and new activities, times, and costs are managed once the changes are authorised. Progress is reported back to everyone having a stake in the project.

Installation: - We work to the highest standards promoted by trade associations such as Cedia and equipment manufacturers so our attention to detail and quality are never compromised. All cabling, racking and equipment connections are labelled, functionally then quality checked against the appropriate equipment. Where needed specialist cabling is installed by appropriately certified engineers and final checks made against the system specification document.

Commissioning: - All of the specialist equipment is checked and programmed off site at our "clean" lab facility. We test connections against the specification and once signed off, ship the system to your site for connection and system testing. Once we are satisfied that everything works according to your system design specification, we will train you on your system and tell you how each control unit works and how it integrates into the whole project. After a couple of weeks we come back on site to discuss with you anything that need to be changed. We are available for telephone and e-mail support during this period too.

After-Care: - We are happy to provide you with any "crib-sheets" or documents to help you find you way around your system but we are confident you wont need them - we find it best that customers make some notes during the training session at the end of commissioning. We have several choices of service contract available and we can discuss with you, which fits best to your lifestyle. All equipment does, of course, carry full manufacturer's warranty. Once your system has been live for some time and if you have an appropriate service agreement, we can carry out any software updating needed and we keep you informed of what's evolving with the industry so your system never becomes obsolete.
